on-board” verification, the Pallet Detector also verifies correct pallet placement on the forks where visibility is restricted.

Small, opto-electronic (using light in its operation) devices in the Pallet Detector allow for rapid sensing of “load” and “no load” conditions and offers adjustable sensitivity and “on/off” trigger points. The Pallet Detector is made of heavy-duty stainless steel and uses little power, according to the company.
