customer service, credit, production and distribution departments. Reebok says it decision to move its headquarters was, in part, due to its purchase of The Hockey Company in June 2004. Reebok is the second largest U.S. athletic shoe seller. It took on $125 million in debt and paid $204 million for a 92-percent stake in The Hockey Company. This purchase puts Reebok at the top of the $500-million hockey equipment industry, controlling about 35 percent of the market.
