Orbis Corporation has hired Allen Dembski as Six Sigma implementation manager. He will have cross-functional responsibility for Six Sigma throughout the company.

Takanobu Tokugawa has been named president of Nissan Forklift Corporation, succeeding Mark Akabori, who has returned to Japan to assume a new assignment.

FKI Logistex Warehouse and Distribution North America group announced several promotions. Chuck Waddle moves to executive vice president, sales and systems engineering; Ken Buzek moves to executive vice president, project management and installation; and Gary Cash moves to vice president, product management. At the group's Cincinnati, Ohio, and Danville, Kentucky, units; Bob Duplain was named senior vice president and CFO; Arlo Bromley vice president, engineering; Terry Wesley vice president, manufacturing; John Moore director, customer service and support; and Pete Eschmeyer director, quality and ISO. In California, appointments include Steve Downs general manager and CFO; Farrokh Bhathena, vice president, operations; Mark Hein vice president, product development; and Hazem Nashif chief technology officer.

RedPrairie Corporation has named Jack Robinson as CFO and financial leader.

Jeffrey Boudreau has joined Tunnell Consulting as principal, supply chain/transportation practice.

Richard C. Hepperla has been named senior vice president and general manager of low-voltage drives at ABB Inc., Automation Technologies.

TNT Logistics North American has appointed Stan Czeczotka as manager of business development in its automotive logistics sector. David Neumann was appointed solutions development manager, and Mike Nicoletti was named director of resource development. Kerry Zielinski was promoted to director, automotive sales.

Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A. Inc. announced several key management changes: Payman Shabbak promoted to strategic planning manager; Troy Kaiser appointed distribution services manager; Mike Cockrell appointed northeast territory manager; Jerry Clark hired as a national account manager; Bruce Marti promoted to customer support and service (CSS) and parts marketing manager; Luis Chaves appointed sales and product training manager; Elizabeth Agnew hired as a national account manager; and David Humphry promoted to national account/fleet sales support manager.

Jonathan W. Kitchen, quality assurance manager, has joined Linpac Materials Handling's quality assurance and engineering team of Valerie Anderson and Kerri Campbell, quality engineers. Key Technology Inc. has appointed Rich Hebel director, marketing and business development.
