Reciprocating Conveyors

GOING UP

The DB Vertical Lift is a high-speed lift for applications requiring light-duty lifting of boxes, cartons, packages, totes, containers or cases. It uses a dual-belt lifting mechanism that provides quiet, smooth operation. And the lifting belt never needs lubricating. The lift moves loads to mezzanines, between floors or conveyor levels. Be-cause of its counter-weight design, a 1/2-horsepower motor is all that’s needed to power the system. Loads can be a maximum of 100 pounds. Carriage sizes can go to 3 by 3 feet. Vertical

RECIPROCATING CONVEYOR

Choose from a full line of reciprocating and other conveying equipment, both new and reconditioned. Complete design engineering and installation services are available. Products can be viewed on line at www.SJF.com. SJF Material Handling Inc.

SAVE SPACE

These chain-slat-type spiral conveyors can save space as they have an outside diameter of five-feet-three-inches to more than seven feet, depending on load size. Load capacity is 75 pounds per linear foot for speeds to 200 feet per minute. Standard incline angle is nine degrees, which safeguards against loads sliding or tumbling during operation. The slats are supported by precision-steel roller bearings, which ride on a polyurethane guide surface for low friction. Overlapping slats provide a smooth and efficient conveying surface suitable for a range of load types and sizes. Standard slat widths are 12, 16, 20, 24 and 28 inches. The slats can accommodate "slick" items, such as plastic totes or frozen items. Ryson

PARTS GATHERING

Accumulators gather in-process parts from one station to another. Vertical design requires little floor space. Overhead and floor-mounted, powered and non-powered versions are available. Lengths range from 8 to 35 feet. Part hangers or nests to suit. Knight Industries

MOVING UP SAFELY

WilLift vertical reciprocating conveyors are available in hydraulic and electromechanical units to move material between different levels. Applications range from moving palletloads, carts or small bins of stock up and down from a mezzanine to automatically conveying material in process from robotic assembly cells to various storage and assembly areas on other floors.

Lifting capacities range from less than 50 pounds to more than six tons. Carriages may be as small as 2 by 2 feet, enclosures as large as 12 by 30 feet. Lifting heights range from as low as 5 feet to more than 120 feet. Wildeck Inc.

POSITIVE PRODUCT CONTROL

The solid, flexible platform design of this vertical conveyor ensures that products don’t fall from a flight. In addition, the flex platform acts like a tabletop conveyor at the infeed and discharge, eliminating the need for a pusher in most configurations.

It is collapsible in the return path. With a small footprint, it can operate as a continuous motion unit or an intermittent unit. Nercon Engineering & Manufacturing Inc.
