HOIST DRIVE FOR DC SYSTEMS

New Product Spotlight: Hoists

HOIST DRIVE FOR DC SYSTEMS

Crane & Hoist Drive is a suitable replacement for electromechanical controls, and can be powered by existing 250 or 500 V DC rails. Its solid-state design eliminates commutator faults caused by brownouts and provides load-independent hoist and lower speeds for positioning accuracy. Unico Inc.

RESTYLED WINCH HOIST

Winch-hoist design includes a revised spur gear housing and cover for easy maintenance. Oil capacity is larger for better cooling and longer life. Lifting capacities range from 1,000 to 6,000 pounds. My-te Products Inc.

ICON-BASED DRIVE INTERFACE

The SP600 offers an intuitive operator interface for its AC drives, with large graphical LCD display and icons depicting functional groups for selection. These icons provide a simple method of locating and accessing drive variables. Rockwell Automation

REDUCE DOOR DOWNTIME COSTS

The Welterweight knockout-style dock door handles the day-to-day knocks from vehicle impact. It rides on spring-loaded plungers rather than bendable rollers. Upon vehicle impact, the plungers release the panel from its guides. The driver snaps the pins back into place and the door is ready to operate. The track design, using Impact-A-Track, means the door can be knocked outward, but not pushed inward, which helps security. To handle lift truck mast problems, the door offers an optional double knockout header. TKO Doors

ENERGY EFFICIENT

Three-phase Wattsaver motors range from 1 to 125 horsepower and meet or exceed CEE efficiency levels. In addition, the motors contain insulation that protects them from voltage damage possible through variable frequency drives. Leeson Electric

NETWORK-READY VECTOR CONTROL

The Vector Control Variable Frequency drives are available in one-third to five horsepower. They are available in single-phase and three-phase with communications through Profibus and RS232/485 interfaces. Aeromat Corp.

MICRO DRIVE TO 3 HP

The ME2 Series OEM AC drive is an alternative to conventional DC drives. It handles high duty cycle, reversing applications. It offers 150 percent overload capacity for one minute. Its small size uses little space. Motortronics
