TEST BATTERY LIFE
The
MCBA Series of computer-controlled battery analyzers provide accurate data on
the usable health of industrial batteries. It lets you validate battery
warranties and identify faulty cells for replacement. It can test a variety of
batteries, including 2.00 VDC nominal cell up to 36 cells and the 6.00 and
12.00 VDC batteries. Analysis software provides data that can be viewed,
printed or downloaded to a spreadsheet. BatteryTest Inc.
BATTERIES GO TUBULAR
Batteries
with tubular plates have been used throughout Europe and are now available in
the U.S. Tubular technology enables batteries to deliver a large amount of
consistent, reliable power, because they contain more stored energy. These
batteries can be used with every popular electric lift truck model in Class I,
Class II and Class III systems. GNB Industrial Power, a division of Exide

INDUSTRIAL BATTERIES
Dominator
gel industrial batteries provide reliable, maintenance-free power to medium-
and light-duty trucks. With proper care and charging, the completely sealed
batteries deliver 75 amps per positive plate. The Gel-Mate model provides the
charger inside the battery. The batteries use an oxygen recombination technique
to recombine water normally lost into the atmosphere by conventional wet
batteries. East Penn Manufacturing Co. Inc.
CHARGE MULTIPLE TRUCKS SIMULTANEOUSLY
PosiCharge
MVS will charge from four to 10 trucks at once, depending on battery size and
state of charge. For operations that use 1.5 or more batteries a day, it gets
vehicles up and operational in 20 to 60 minutes. It works on 24-, 36-, 48-,
72-, 80-, and 96-V battery packs and has a peak power rating of 60 kW. Charging
algorithms allocate power to batteries based on their size and state of charge,
directing the most current first to the battery with the lowest state of charge
while also delivering energy to other batteries. The system will equalize up to
10 vehicles simultaneously. AeroVironment Inc.
CHARGE AHEAD
The
Charge Network System lets you monitor and control charging of up to 1,000
chargers from one PC. You can access data on next available battery, equipment
use, on charge time history, temperature history, which truck used a battery
and when, and more. The system enables accurate troubleshooting, precise
maintenance schedules, and no guesswork when it comes to battery rotation.
